The Handfasting features a delicate white Parian porcelain tile cast over an open plaster mould created from clenched fists. The porcelain hangs loose from silk bonds within a spe-cially cast concrete housing. A ring glimmers, set within the concrete. The making process involves three separate castings and one kiln firing.
